THIS COACHING WEEKEND IS NOW *SOLD OUT*. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FUTURE DATES
When: Saturday 12th + Sunday 13th January 2019 (2 full days with an overnight stay) - a weekend timed to set-up your year in the right way for you.
Where: UK (location tbc, but most likely a section of the North Wales coastal path). Depending on the weather and your inclination we may camp overnight, or you can find your own accommodation on route (costs of overnight stay not included). We will discuss this when you book. The topography will be undulating. You do not need to be very fit, but should be able to walk up and down moderate paths at a gentle pace for two days.
Who: You and I. One-to-one. We will meet early on the Saturday and begin our walk, during which time we will work together on your goals and objectives. What unfolds in the space is unique to each coaching partnership, but in every case I hope you will go away ready to make the changes you want to make for the new year ahead. This weekend will suit anyone looking for an intensive coaching weekend to kick start a new project, or new mindset. Perhaps you’re fed up with being in a rut, or tired of the same-old, same-old. Alternatively, you might have a reallt sticky problem that you can’t shake, or just want a chance to think about your year ahead and what it could look like. There are no rules.
How: Over the course of our time together, I will coach with you and we will explore your values, self-beliefs, limiting self-beliefs, barriers to progress, your mindset, your motivations. We will also consider what it is to be a person in ‘movement’ in the world, and how we can use the embodied experience of living in the moment to guide our decisions. All of this and more!
I am a personal development coach, but I am also a qualified person-centred therapist passionate about nature, the outdoors and living more closely in line with our wild inner and outer selves. We’ll work at whatever depth is important to understand what is holding you back, and what is needed to move forward. We will help you find clarity using a variety of methods. All you need to do is show up for yourself and get stuck in!
I work with anxiety, depression, suicidal feelings, chronic illness and pain, confidence, self worth, self-esteem, shame, guilt, post-trauma…and many more things besides. Nothing is off the agenda. When you sign up for the trail weekend we’ll discuss everything that’s going on for you in your life in advance, to tailor the weekend to your needs.
What: You will need to bring the right clothing, but I can advise on this, of course, and a bag for all your stuff. You’ll need to bring everything you’ll need for an overnight stay. Water, foods, snacks for the day time. You might also want to bring a way of recording your thoughts and ideas; whether that’s a notebook, a sketchbook or a voice recorder.
Why: Coaching on the trail is my unique coaching ‘package’ designed specifically for those who want something a little more intensive to set coaching in motion, and appreciate (or want to discover) the benefits that being outdoors can bring to the process of ‘getting going’. Over the weekend you will take a physical, embodied journey and I will help you consolidate this outer journey with the inner one that we will be working through together. Coaching outdoors is an enlivened process, and as such it’s not uncommon to see, feel, experience personal growth quickly and dynamically in a way that you can utilise back home in your every day life.
What’s Next: I will invite everyone who is interested to provide me with their email address and you will be offered to book the place first-come-first served. After that, I will open to the public on Monday 19th November.
Cancellation: When you book you will make a 50% deposit to secure the weekend. This is your commitment to make space for the changes you want to make, and the work you want to do to get there. You will then be asked to pay the remaining balance a week before we meet. If you decide you cannot make the weekend before the 12th December then I will look to reopen the place, and offer you a refund of the deposit if the space is booked.
Confidentiality: All my work is completely confidential. Whilst I post regularly about my work on social media, this never includes client details or content. Creating a safe space is of upmost importance to me and I take ethical practice very seriously.
